SpongeBob SquarePants’ 10 year anniversary episode is gonna be pretty extraordinary. How? Well, as of now, two reasons are there. First is, that the episode would mark the 10 year long run of series, on Nickelodeon Network, and the second is, that Ricky Gervais would make appearance on this episode. The actor is delighted to have the offer. It’s not yet confirmed, as to what would be the title of the respective episode and which character he would give his voice to. So, we need to wait a little!

On the other hand, wait is over for ‘SpongeBob SquarePants: The Sponge Who Could Fly! A New Musical’ as it’s gonna surface at New Victoria Theatre, showing from May 12 to 16, 2009, Tuesday to Saturday. It’d be following the adventures of our very favorite SpongeBob, a cute yellow lovable sponge, as he would take the audiences on a journey, where he would try to realize his dream of flying. And let me tell you that the jellyfish of Jellyfish Fields, is the one with whom SpongeBob wants to take flight. The story is also about friendship and the persistence to achieve one’s dreams. It’d be more than exciting to see all the characters of SpongeBob appearing on the same stage to entertain the viewers. Go and arrange your tickets, if you wanna see it!

Other news for SpongeBob SquarePants’ fans! Clancy Brown, the one who voices Mr. Eugene H. Krabs has got another role. He’d be seen performing the role of Allan, on ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street” supposed to be released in 2010.

For many years now we have loved SpogeBob SquarePants TV show as an animated series and now it is time to shower our love on the actor who is bringing our favorite cartoon character to life. Yes guys, the versatile actor Chris Coxon, was seen as SpongeBob SquarePants in the new musical The Sponge Who Could Fly! that was staged in Festival Theatre recently. He showed all the enthusiasm that we often see in the character on the animated series.

Chris has been renowned to perform a variety of roles from dancing nuns to killer rabbits, a random frog and, on occasion, Prince Herbert in Monty Python’s Spamalot. He has never shied away from taking up the most bizarre roles, which he has considered to be the challenges in his career His latest role however, has left people wondering as to what motivated the actor to step into the Bikini Bottom, as the loveable cult anti-hero, SpongeBob SquarePants. The actor who seemed quite excited in his latest avatar, had reportedly said earlier that it was great to play SpongeBob as it was one of those few characters that everyone would like to play. Reportedly, he also said that people admired the character of SpongeBob because of the optimism and enthusiasm that he brings into his every task, even through he might not be the best man for doing that task. Well, I certainly agree with you Chris and I know most of my readers will also share the same thought.

I have been watching SpongeBob SquarePants episodes for so many years now. I first watched the show when I introduced by son to his first cartoons some six years back. Since then it has become a ritual for him and me to watch every new episode of the show together. Even though SpongeBob SquarePants is targeted at an audience in the age group of 6-14 years, I know that it is liked by many adults including me. The little yellow seas sponge has won the hearts of millions of kids across the globe and who have showered their love by making it the number one show on Nickelodeon. I just hope that the show which is currently airing its Season 6 continues entertaining us for many more years!

For me, it’s the only one series which I loved too much and characters of which are my all time favorite. Spongebob, Squidward and Patrick…….. I love them all!

This Jan. 18 would be a very special day for the fans of SpongeBob as on this day SpongeBob would make its debut in the 2009 Film Festival with its first ever live performance. And, not only this, SpongeBob would also launch a new website for its fans. SpongeBob has always made us crazy with its great sense of humor, joy and boundless optimism. After 10 successive years, series is still on the top of the game and of course on the top of the ratings also.

On this festival, SpongeBob’s voice actors would carry out a live reading of ‘SpongeBob vs. The Big One’, an episode that’s never seen before. Making it more enjoyable would be the visual presentation and the appearance of celebrity guests. In order to make you fall for SpongeBob, Nickelodeon has also decided to launch the first full length original TV documentary chronicling the events which made Spongebob an International Pop Culture Icon. This documentary would be aired on MTV Networks’ various TV platforms. Well, buddies network has enormous plans to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the show. How would you celebrate it?

And, now is the turn the expose the biggest surprise. Let me tell you that ‘SpongeBob vs. The Big One’ would feature Johnny Depp, a very big star and he would be playing the king of surfing, Jack Kahuna Laguna.

Truly, I love SpongeBob. How sweet, cute and naughty he is! Since, I’ve started watching SpongeBob SquarePants; all other animation series seem just boring and ho-hum productions. This one is the best and no issues on that, I mean realize yourself, how many series are there which you can’t skip a single episode of. I think, hardly one or two and definitely, ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ is one of those.

I started watching SpongeBob from second season. Actually, when first season was on run, I didn’t like Spongy (SpongeBob, we call him so)…. . But after watching the episode entitled ‘Your Shoe’s Untied/ Squid’s Day Off’… I got crazy man. If you’ve watched it, you must be known that in this episode, SpongeBob forgets how to tie his shoes…. Oh! He behaved very sweetly and won my heart with his tricks. And, it urged me to download all previous episodes so I immediately downloaded and started watching from the series opener itself. Hey! Spongy… just listen man!

You…. Squarie, yellowish, two teeth sponge ……… you’re the best! You make me crazy when you smile…. Your eyes are as shiny as the stars in a milky way….I am a SpongeBob lover (wink and Peck…….. 
