I have a feeling that the deceived Karen will come back for her revenge. She must put up a fight for the upgraded Karen, Karen 2.0 and seek her revenge. The project will be refurbishing the character’s reach further aiming to increase in the demand. The network aims at boosting the sales of the franchise in US and the other parts of the world. They also aim at improving the sales of the cartoon related consumer merchandise. All of this is expected to happen with the release of the new movie.

According to Philippe Dauman the movie will be released as Nickelodeon branded movie. Also the merchandise which includes toys will be licensed but be owned by them.

They are aiming to extend its ambit in the international market in an improved manner and do better than the first silver screen adaptation of the cartoon.

The character was developed by a marine biologist who turned into an animator, Stephen Hillenburg. He made his creation’s first arrival on the channel Nickelodeon in 1999. At that time, the show saw its success and soared high. Its products like toys of the characters and consumer products and beach related merchandise was majorly in demand.  After all these years the brand needs a boost and is expected to be able to do so again with the movie.

The first movie was released in 2004 and grossed around $85.4million in US and $54.7million overseas and will be making a thumping return after a decade.

In a promise to keep the story away from the cops, she had promised to return all his artworks that she had purchased on behalf of HB Gallery.

On the other hand, Ms. Howell seems to be pretty confident of her innocence and hinted the media to watch out for the dismissal of Mr. Todd White’s lawsuit.

Fox News is criticizing Nickelodeon and The US Education Department for promoting the issue of global warming incompletely through SpongeBob SquarePants.

According to them, global warming is still a controversial issue. Some scientists believe that it is caused by human intervention, while others opine that global warming is a part of a giant climactic cycle Earth is going through.

On the other side of the story, global warming is not that much of a controversial topic, as is being created by the media. Most scientists agree that human activities are accelerating the rate of deterioration of the environment. And, this time, Pooh will be animated by the Elvis Presley of animation, Eric Goldberg.

The actor had assumed that Rabbit was a female character, till a certain age.

Here is interesting piece of news about our adorable Bikini Bottom inhabitant, Spongebob Squarepants. And I am sure that after learning about it, you will feel as proud as Spongebob Squarepants.

A couple of weeks ago, a researcher from San Francisco State University discovered a unique kind of mushroom that resembled sponge. After finding some striking similarities with Spongebob Squarepants, scientist Dennis Desjardin spared no time to name the rain forest mushroom after the anime character!

Undoubtedly, it’s one of the rarest of discoveries in the history of Mycology. But more than that, Spongebob Squarepants etched its name in golden words, and I am sure whenever research would be made in this field, mention of Stephen Hillenburg’s cartoon character would certainly find its place.

Being a marine biologist, Stephen would feel more than just privileged!

The fact that his research on marine biology helped someone in the forest of Borneo to unravel and draw a conclusion on the existence of a new species of mushroom is indeed irreplaceable.

I guess it won’t be an exaggeration to presume that other characters of Spongebob Squarepants episodes might someday help someone else in naming his/her great discoveries!

The rare spongs, named after Spongebob Squarepants has an orange hue spread over it, and there are several hollow holes in its body.

Why do I say that?

I say that because the web site told me that a new species of mushrooms has been discovered, and it has been named after the show!

I don’t know why, but a few of my brain cells compel me to think that this news is a little bizarre…

Spongiforma Squarepantsii is the name that they have been given, and believe me, if you do not have a pretty thick tongue like I do, you would not have a difficult time speaking that.

Actually am I kidding? Even if you have a slick tongue, there is no way in the world you can speak that name comfortably and download it in your minds! Is that a hybrid of French and Italian?????

Anyway, heading back to the main news, San Francisco State University students were the ones who found it, and they came across it when they were on an expedition in the forests of Borneo.

The mushroom is shaped like a sea sponge, and has a very fruity aroma.

Now we know that Spongebob is a sea sponge, but if seen more closely, it gives you the look of a kitchen sponge. I guess the resemblance was enough for them to name the mushroom after it.

I guess the people at that university would be some fans of the character, eh? Its ok people, I know what it is like to be fan of this sponge! Frankly speaking, anyone, who opts to watch Spongebob Squarepants online, doesn’t not take much time before becoming one!
